My name is Scott Hogg and I am a computer network consultant.  As a network computing expert for over 15 years, I provide network and security consulting and training services to my clients.  I am focused on creating reliable, high performance, secure, manageable, and cost effective network solutions.  My tremendously broad and deep skill-set is a result of my long career in the networking industry.  I have been working with computers since 1985 and I worked with UNIX and networking systems since 1988.  I have a B.S. in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a M.S. in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado.  I also have my Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #5133), my Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP #4610), and many other vendor and industry certifications.  I have been consulting, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks for many large enterprises and service providers.  I have also presented at many conferences on a variety of networking subjects.  My current interests are in the areas of IPv6, Content Networking, Multicast and, of course, Security.  This web page is meant to share some of my knowledge about networking technologies with the world.  I will upload information on various technologies I know a little something about and links to those subjects that people may find useful.
