Cisco IP Tel User Group
Here's a tip that isn't in
the CCO docs. There is a hidden command (not
sure if its on all IOS
versions) called csim. It is a call simulator you
can use to test your dial plans.
Syntax: csim start
xxx
xxx is the phone number to dial. It will ring the phone if it can but
when
you pick it up there will be nobody
there.
You can csim from R2 to test your pots dial-peers and then csim the same #
from R1 to test the VoIP peers.
Visit the Voice Configuration Library today for the Cisco IOS Release 12.3 documentation you need: Click Here
This is definitely the Holy Grail during IPC engagements and training.
